Jim Balkcom is chairman of the board of advisors for Corporate Psychology Resources, a leadership consultancy, and serves on the boards of iKobo, Inc., a provider of online money transfer services; and eVault, Inc., a provider of secure online backup services. He has more than 30 years of experience in corporate governance and finance, and has held senior executive positions at several companies. From 1998 to 2002, he was chairman of CommerceSouth, a $1.6 billion, publicly-held company. From 1996 to 2000, he served as director and then executive chairman at PAMECO Corp., a $400 million distribution company that he helped take public. Previously, Mr. Balkcom was chief executive officer at Techsonic Industries, a leading marine electronics company. Mr. Balkcom is also the Georgia state civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army.
